Antipasto
“Riscoperta dei peperoni imbottiti”: Red Capsicum filled with sautéed skinless eggplant, parmesan, breadcrumbs, flat leaf parsley and pecorino

Secondi piatti
Casarecce al peperocino con salsiccia di maiale e porcini in bianco

Chilli infused Casarecce with italian pork sausage and porcini mushrooms in a white wine.

Fresh pasta prepared by the chef Nicola Robertiello.

Dessert
Bavarese al vino dolce con reduzione di Tignanello

Sweet white wine bavarese of Moscato d’Asti 2006,  served in a Martini glass finished with a reduction of Tignanello.

Last 4th August 2010 a convivial dinner was held at Dell’Ugo Restaurant in New Farm, Brisbane. The menu was inspired specifically by the red color and vogheresi specialties, because of the concomitance with a retrospective exhibition dedicated to the stylist Valentino which was launched in Brisbane the very day after.
The dishes were prepared with great care by Chef Nicola Robertiello.
All the dishes of undoubted quality were presented in the family run and welcoming environment, although the prices were relatively high.
The selection of desserts was interesting.  The combination of wines and dishes was not as remarkable as the wine list.

Lo scorso 4 agosto 2010 si e’ svolta una cena conviviale presso il Ristorante dell’Ugo New Farm, Brisbane. Il menu’ era stato creato appositamente attorno al colore rosso e alle specialita’ vogheresi, vista la concomitanza della inaugurazione di una mostra retrospettiva dedicata allo stilista Valentino che si e’ aperta nella stessa citta’di Brisbane il giorno successivo.
I piatti erano stati preparati con cura dallo chef Nicola Robertiello. Nell’ambiente a gestione familiare e molto accogliente, sono stati presentati piatti di indubbia qualita’, anche se a prezzi relativamente alti.
Interessante la scelta dei dessert. Valida la carta dei vini, meno la combinazione dei vini con i piatti.
